Taylex Group meeting the next generation of the events industry

01.01.2025

At Taylex Group, we are always eager to engage with the next generation of event professionals, sharing our expertise and passion for live event production. Our recent involvement in Event Week Live at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham provided an excellent platform to do just that.

Event Week Live is an initiative designed to offer students a comprehensive insight into the operations of a leading live events business. Held annually at the NEC, this event coincides with Crufts, the world’s largest dog show, attracting over 24,000 dogs and nearly 4,000 international competitors.

The convergence of these events creates a dynamic environment for learning and networking.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the NEC for inviting Taylex Group to participate in Event Week Live. This opportunity allowed us to showcase the intricacies involved in organizing large-scale events like Crufts. From coordinating logistics to managing live productions, the experience highlighted the dedication and expertise required to bring such events to fruition.

During Event Week Live, we had the privilege of interacting with students eager to learn about the live events industry. Our team shared insights into the various facets of event production, emphasizing the importance of meticulous planning, adaptability, and teamwork. The students were particularly interested in understanding how we manage the challenges associated with high-profile exhibitions like Crufts.

Live event production is a multifaceted field that combines creativity, technical skills, and logistical prowess. At Taylex Group, we believe in providing hands-on experiences that mirror the real-world challenges of the industry. Events like Event Week Live serve as a bridge between academic learning and professional practice, offering students a glimpse into the dynamic world of live event production.

Our participation in Event Week Live reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a deeper understanding of the live events sector. We look forward to future collaborations with educational institutions and industry partners to continue inspiring and shaping the careers of aspiring event professionals.

Our experience at Event Week Live was both enriching and inspiring. We are grateful to the NEC for facilitating such platforms and to the students for their enthusiasm and curiosity. At Taylex Group, we remain dedicated to making events happen, sharing our journey, and inspiring the next generation to do the same
